Responsibilities:
Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital is adding an additional position to its existing staff of Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurses.
The Cardiovascular ICU is a 9 bed unit functioning as both a CVICU and ICU.

In this role you will work closely with the Cardiovascular team members including the LVAD Coordinator, CT Surgeons, OR and Cath Lab.
The population of the Cardiovascular Unit range from minimally invasive off pump heart surgery to LVAD and ECMO patients.
Cardiovascular ICU nurses provide up to date comprehensive critical care through evidence based practice to patients with both surgical and medical treatments.
Our nurses are highly competent and skilled to manage Cardiothoracic and other critical care patients.

CMC, CSC, CCRN, etc.
).
Cardiovascular ICU is a special unit which offers support and many resources for Registered Nurses.
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements include; Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program.
Current RN license for the state of California, BLS and Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 3 months into job.
Qualities and experience we are looking for:
Ability to work closely with Cardiovascular team members.
Excellent communication & problem solving skills.
Desire to work closely with skilled Cardiac Surgeons, in all areas of this specialty, in addition to other skilled surgeons.
