Overview:
As a nurse in Oncology, you will work in one of the physician offices for Community Health Providers (CHP).
CHP is a new medical foundation that is a part of the Community Health System.
In your role, you will be responsible for the daily clinical resources of a busy office that sees roughly 300 patients per week.
You will support the Practice Manager and serve on a multidisciplinary team to ensure the oncology patient population receives quality and patient comprehensive services.
As an academic position, you will be getting hands on experience and doing direct research in oncology alongside a variety of professionals.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in interdisciplinary meetings to lead improvement activities and provide leadership, including problem resolution and mentoring personnel.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
Participate in quarterly clinical and operations review of practice and implement operational changes as directed by and/or in conjunction with the Practice Manager and physician leads.
Serve as the Oncology representative on committees, task forces, or project teams as directed by the physician leads and/or Practice Manager, and complete or coordinate tasks delegated as a result of such representation.
Monitor the performance improvement process related to support processes and participate in continuous improvement of these processes.

Qualifications:
Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field required2 years of Medical Oncology experience that includes, training, supervision, coordination or special project responsibilities requiredRN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license requiredBLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required ONSCHEMO - ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required Preferred:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
