Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesOur client in Chowchilla, Ca.
is looking for a Registered Nurse to care for their patients in a clinic like setting at a correctional facility.
Monitor patient's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care.
Observe and interpret patient's symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.
) and fill in patient's charts.
Adjust and administer patient's medication(s) and provide treatments according to the physician's orders.
Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.
).
Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants.
Expand their knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
RequirementsMust have at least 1 year RN experience within the last 3 yearsFull-timeMust have a current and active RN licenseMust have a current and active BLS from American Heart AssociationMust have clean backgroundContractual but renewableWeekly Pay, Sick Pay, Overtime and Holiday PayA valid nursing license.
