Job SummaryThis position is accountable for the efficient scheduling of surgery.

Minimum Education and Work ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Associate's degree from a two-year college or trade school preferred.
(Or the equivalent combination of education and experience).
Two years related medical experience and/or training.
Required SkillsAbility to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to demonstrate clear oral and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively plan and prioritize work.
Ability to maintain collaborative working relationships to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Knowledge and proficiency of department information system and applications including Microsoft Office, and the clinical and financial information systems appropriate to the department.

Supports and maintains block time rules and requirements.
