SUPERVISORY SUPPLY TECHNICIAN

THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, TEMPORARY PROMOTION NOT TO EXCEED 1 YEAR. Selectee may be non-competitively promoted permanently if/when funding becomes available or position becomes unencumbered. Selectee may be non-competitively extended up to 5 years if/when funding becomes available or position becomes unencumbered. The primary purpose of the SUPERVISORY SUPPLY TECHNICIAN, GS-2005-10, is to direct the performance of the Asset Management Section, Maintenance Support Section, and Customer Support Section to include the management, direction and supervision of assigned employees. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance. General
Experience:
Experience, education, or training in a variety of operations or situations concerned with substance or content of supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered; Experience using computer and automation systems. SUPERVISORY SUPPLY TECHNICIAN, GS-2005-10:
Must have at least 30 months experience in managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions; Knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system; Experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues; Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
