Job Description:
Leading Civil Engineering Land Development firm is presently looking for multiple highly talented and self-motivated Civil CAD Technicians / Civil CAD Drafters to provide drafting support for our Civil Engineering and Design team in Fresno, Sacramento or Folsom. Civil CAD Technicians / Drafters are responsible for preparing civil drawings and exhibits for land development and public infrastructure design projects.
Civil CAD Technician / Civil CAD Drafter must have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on civil drafting experience pertaining to land development and public infrastructure design projects.
Civil CAD Technician / Drafter
Qualifications:
Must have strong technical abilities utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D / CADD.
Must have a minimum of 2
years of hands-on experience in the preparation of civil improvement plans, grading plans, underground utility plans, final maps and exhibits for land development and public infrastructure design projects.
Must have Expert knowledge of AutoCAD and Land Development Desktop and a demonstrated three-dimensional analytical skill set will be considered in lieu of the preferred AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.

Responsibilities:
Must be able to work directly with Civil Engineers and Civil Designers to develop civil improvement plan sets which include utility plan sheets, grading plan sheets, plan and profile drawings, and associated notes, sections and detail sheets.
Must comply with company CAD standards and CAD protocols relating to drawing structure, file management structure and layer management.
Must have knowledge of design development, construction documents and civil engineering concepts
