Quality Assurance Supervisor - Swing Shift - Food Processing
Experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor for food processing company needed. Large food processor is looking for an experienced QA Supervisor for their swing shift. Must have experience supervising, understand and follow regulatory requirements including HACCP, develop/implement inspection procedures for quality/ analysis of various products. Responsible for making sure all production meets expectations of customers and company standards. Have experience communicating with USDA inspectors regarding grade, defects, micro-tests and sanitation. Conduct inspections and make pass/fail decisions on all products being processed.
In addition, this position ensures effective staffing of QA Department, understand union contracts and effective union relations, have excellent computer skills and knowledge of food science, food chemistry, and micro-biology. Must be able to adapt to change quickly.
Minimum 3 years experience and BA degree preferred.
