Summary:
At a senior programming and project management level, the Application Developer II will plan, develop and coordinate all projects and activities related to the design, development, and implementation of organizational information systems and software applications particularly as they relate to web based applications.
The Application Developer II is also responsible for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading existing systems and applications and for leading Application Developer I staff through project milestones.
The Application Developer II is expected to have good understanding of testing software from unit testing to application testing.
Design and manage major IT projects from start to finish Work within an Agile environment Organize and plan project Monitor project progress, adapting and communicating changes needed Assign Application I staff to specific goals Create web application front-end using ASP.
NET May need to support PHP, MySQL, Apache based systems Create backend RDBMS using either SQL Server or MySQL Evaluate and write database queries using SQL.
Create reports using RDBMS tools such as SQL Server Management Studio, Navicat, or other.
Work closely with end users to resolve application-related issues in a timely, friendly manner.
Lead Application I staff through project milestones Attendance Effectiveness of Project Management (planning, on time, on budget) Effectiveness of programming (program does what user needed it to do) Efficiency of programming (speed in programming) Meeting project timelines Website and Software deployment Creativity of solutions and input to problems Feedback from users Feedback from Application Developer I staff Requirements:

years experience in applications development and implementing database reports.
Some of that experience must be with IT project management Preferred experience with Windows and Linux servers Excellent organizational Agile / SCRUM methodologies Strong Communication skills, especially oral and listening abilities Strong analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills required.
Strong knowledge of Visual Studio Strong knowledge/experience in C#, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS Knowledge of development architecture such as MVC, MVVM, MVP and other patterns Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
Excellent problem-solving skills Excellent knowledge of best practices and the most recent technologies related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems.
Excellent Project Management skills Education:
Bachelors in IS/IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
