Responsibilities Essential Functions Manage Reporting and Data Analysis Compile data, reconcile and prepare summary reports for presentation to program and executive management Assist with the preparation of program statistics, reports and analysis Manage Compliance Standards Oversee the response to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct against Certified Enrollment Entities, Certified Enrollment Counselors, Grantee Entities and Navigators by evaluating or recommending the initiation of fact-finding procedures Manage Appeals Process and Closure Oversee the process of receiving appeals for denied applications, rationale for denying applications, appropriate documentation of denials, and response to applicants Oversee the process of required background checks received from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation possess the absence of a criminal record which bears a demonstrable relationship to the applicant s suitability to perform the required duties and responsibilities (disqualifying event) Ensure decisions are made in a manner consistent with institutional policies and procedures developed and approved in accord with Covered California/RHA Manage and Lead Staff Coach, develop and direct staff Other duties and projects as assigned Minimum Requirements Education Must have four year college degree or equivalent Experience Must have a minimum of four years of experience in a compliance/appeals setting Must have at least 5 years of management experience Must have at least 3 years in the role of a compliance officer Experience building a department is a plus Previous experience in insurance industry highly desired The position will ultimately be located in Alameda.
However, this person would be required to work in the Fresno office 2-3 days per week initially.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
