We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Route Driver to join our team in the Manufacturing industryThis position is ideal for a self-motivated professional with strong attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to safetyAs a Permanent Route Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of our productsThis is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving company and play a key role in our ongoing success.
Responsibilities:
1Safely operate a delivery vehicle on assigned routes to transport goods to our clients in a timely manner.2Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations.3Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring that they are properly secured to prevent damage.4Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, routes, and any issues or delays.5Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding any route changes, delays, or other issues that may arise.6Manage inventory and ensure that all deliveries are accurate and complete.7Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns from clients in a professional and courteous manner.8Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving.
Qualifications:
1High school diploma or equivalent.2Minimum of 2 years of experience in route driving or a similar role.3Proven experience in inventory management.4Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record.5Strong knowledge of local routes and the ability to use GPS devices.6Excellent physical condition and the ability to lift heavy items.7Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.8Excellent communication and customer service skills.9Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.10Commitment to safety and compliance with all driving regulations.If you are a focused, reliable individual with a passion for delivering excellent service, we would love to hear from youJoin our team and embark on a rewarding career in the Manufacturing industry.Interested in hearing more?
