Position
Summary:
The Supply Planner will have the following key
Responsibilities:
material planning, forecasting, inventory control, and scheduling.
This role involves creating and converting strategic production plans into detailed finished product schedules.
Additionally, the Supply Planner will oversee the receipt and tracking of materials throughout the production process to ensure thorough and auditable traceability.
The Supply Planner is responsible for:
Develop and monitor production schedules to meet desired inventory stocking levels.
Ensure efficient utilization of inventory to meet customer specifications.
Create daily production schedules for multiple production lines, optimizing capacity utilization and balancing workload.
Adjust production schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand.
Select materials from inventory to fulfill customer orders, offering alternatives if exact specifications cannot be met.
Monitor, analyze, and report on production performance and adherence to schedule using material and production control systems.
Manage stock transfers between different facilities.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in orders and deliveries.
Support and implement inventory stocking initiatives to fulfill customer requirements while minimizing costs.
Monitor daily quality from each plant to ensure compliance with planned specifications and collaborate with plants to make necessary changes.
Review and develop strategies to reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventories.
Implement measures to prevent product aging in inventory.
Continuously improve production planning and reporting processes.
Perform any other assigned responsibilities as required.
The Supply Planner will have the following
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred 1-2 years of related experience preferred, this experience should include production reporting, physical inventory management, reconciliation, and database control.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees and customers at all levels Proficiency in computer skills, particularly with significant experience in Excel Previous working experience and familiarity with SAP Problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and present efficient and effective solutions to management in a clear and concise manner Strong attention to detail is a requirement for this role Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Communication Control Systems Databases Forecasting Microsoft Excel Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
