Responsibilities:
In your role, you will:
Work alongside all of the surgical departments to ensure continuity of care Place Patients in pre-admission testing and support them through the pre-op process to ensure all requirements are completed timely Conduct pre-surgical interview and provide pre-surgical education to patients via phone and in person Transcribe orders Perform necessary testing required pre-testing for surgical patients Able to delegate to MA and LVN as needed Critically think about lab results and inform MD of any issues that might prevent patient from going to surgery Schedule Requirements:
Full Time, 8 hour shifts Weekdays with flexibility to support weekend coverage if the need arises Available to work until 7:
30pm

Education and Experience Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program California RN state license Minimum 1 - 2 years recent RN experience, surgical & procedural, med-surg experience preferred BLS Certification Disclaimers:
