Mobile Automotive Glass Technician
Service CenterGlass - FresnoJob Summary Caliber Auto Glass Technicians are responsible for repairing or replacing cracked, chipped, or damaged automotive glass.
Role and Responsibilities Replacement of automotive glass by following quality standards Ability to perform repairs on damaged glass Complete a pre and post inspection with customer May utilize various tools and scanning equipment Complete documentation of repair orders on mobile device Check in parts and communicate needs with urgency Ability to remove and install trim panels & interior parts without damaging Effectively prioritize and manage your time to complete assigned daily tasks Mobile position based out of a company provided vehicle Clean vehicle of glass debris and/or glass that may be a result of the glass being damaged by impact or repair process, including any excess materials on visible surfaces Ensures that all equipment, materials, and areas of operation are in safe working order Perform a final inspection with the customer and get customer's signature on all paperwork as necessary Complete all administrative duties and payment collection upon completion of job Accountable for assigned inventory (including vehicles, mobile devices, tools, other equipment provided) Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications, Education & Experience Minimum 2 years of automotive glass industry experience Knowledge of glass installation and replacement practices Excellent customer service and communication skills Knowledge and ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficiently Self-motivated, positive attitude, with a customer focused vision Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check Ability to pass a background check Must be able to lift 60 pounds independently Travel may be required for continuing education and certification training Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping Requires frequent driving of company and customer vehicles Extensive travel within assigned area is expected May have exposure to fumes, dust, and chemicals Ability to work in a shop or mobile environment during inclement weather Required to wear PPE to include but not limited to facial covering, eye protection, gloves Recommended Skills Administration Automotive Industry Cladding (Construction) Communication Customer Service Positive Attitude Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
