This academic-affiliated, Level 1 Trauma Center features one of the largest and busiest emergency departments in California as well as a comprehensive burn center.
We are looking for skilled Neuroscience ICU nurses to take on challenging work with a specialized team in 12-hour shifts.
We are a close-knit team--fostering a nurturing and supportive environment with many resources at your fingertips.
As a nurse for our 20-bed Neuroscience ICU, you will work closely with fellow team members, including our Neurological Intensivists, who provide teaching in an individualized or group setting.
Procedures such as placing external ventricular drains, ICP monitors, and lumbar drains are examples of the credentials and training our team members have.
Your role here will include opportunities for growing your skillset as well as educational training so that you can qualify to pursue additional certifications within Neuroscience (i.
e.
, ENLS, CCRN, CRRT, Trauma Care, etc.
).
RN patient ratios are 1:
2 in the ICU.
