Human Resource Generalist

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Facilitate employee recruitment and collaborate with departmental managers for qualifications regarding open positions.
Conduct employee on-boarding and perform all new hire orientations Prepare, process documentation and/or reports and administer tasks relating to personnel; disciplinary disputes and injury investigations, grievances, performance management, compensation, benefits and leave Implement safety training and development; mandatory and non-mandatory Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees and supervisors Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state and local employment laws and regulations Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures while providing guidance and interpretation of Company policies Secondary back-up for employee timekeeping Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS At least 2-3 years of solid Human Resources management experience Must be bilingual in Spanish; able to speak, read and write Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills Excellent prioritizing skills and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations Strong advocate for team environment Knowledgeable with computer software; Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word As part of our safety in the workplace policy, an offer of employment is subject to a negative drug screen result.
