The Human Resources Specialist / Recruiter utilizes comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, assists in all areas of HR, with an emphasis in recruitment, and assistance in the areas of employee engagement.
Partners with hiring teams to understand organizational objectives and drive a customized hiring plan to achieve those objectives.
Creates unique strategies to identify, attract, and engage the best talent by utilizing branding, events, candidate sourcing, and referrals.
Sources and identifies active and passive candidates to support agency recruitment initiatives Handles a high volume of applications and resumes, reviewing candidate information to determine if job qualifications are met.
Conducts phone screens and consults with management to recommend candidates to move forward in the selection process in accordance with recruiting and HR policies.
Schedules candidates for both phone and onsite interviews, meeting, greeting and setting candidates up for a great candidate experience.
Manages candidates in process to provide them with a professional and engaging candidate experience.
Oversees recruitment processes, and proactively contributes to improving recruiting processes.
Collaborates with the marketing team to promote branding through social media and various healthcare boards.
Develops and maintains effective working relationships in the healthcare community to source qualified candidates and build pipelines for future openings.
Attends health fairs and job fairs as a representative of the agency.
Assists with the development of retention strategies, and supports retention strategies.
Promotes employee engagement by aiding in periodic special events as well as company and local recognition programs.
Partners with management to creatively facilitate an excellent overall employee experience.
Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in full cycle recruiting and sourcing in the healthcare industry.
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university, in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
Significant knowledge of current principles and practices of human resource management, and labor laws / regulations.
Ability to handle multitasking effectively in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
Demonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasm Effective project management and organizational skills to develop goals and action plans; assess priorities, and resource needs.
Ability to set and meet aggressive commitments to achieve objectives while demonstrating flexibility to handle immediate needs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
