Responsibilities:
We are looking for a skilled Crisis RN, also known as a Facility Resource RN to join our downtown Fresno campus Emergency Response team! As part of our Level I Trauma Center, and largest of three acute care hospitals, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with medical staff and physicians in a fast-paced environment, providing emergency comprehensive critical care, including trauma, neurological, cardiac, and more.
Demonstrating extensive clinical knowledge through evidence-based practice, there will be constant opportunities to mentor staff members and provide unit-based education and support on processes - key to the continuum of care of Valley patients.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing or successful completion of sufficient units in Nursing to qualify for state licensure required One of the following is required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Achieves and maintains National Certification related to specialty 2 years of nursing experience of which at least 1 year in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or critical care unit required Experience with Definity administration, I/O access, Mediport access, Ultrasound for PIV placement and basic LVAD Management preferred Licenses and Certifications RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support Certification (CCMC and CRMC only) required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position ATCN - Advanced Trauma Care Nurse (CRMC only) required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
