Fresno, CA About the position The Construction Quality Manager is part of the Quality Management Team that works to manage the multiple design - build teams in the field in both the design and construction phases of a project.
The person is self-motivated, requires minimal supervision and is extremely comfortable managing personnel, interfacing with the client, and has the business acumen to manage using quantitative metrics.
Responsibilities:
Extensive experience developing and applying Quality Assurance plans providing clear guidelines for ensuring that project design-build complies with the quality requirements in accordance with the contract documents.
Reviews the design-builds' Quality Control plans and submittals to ensure that they demonstrate the design-build's methodology and procedures to control the quality of their work.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree - Engineering - Transportation Skills and attributes:
Self starter, excellent communication skills, good negotiation skills, ability to present findings and solutions demonstrate ability to work as team good organizational and problem solving skills Minimum Requirements:
Oversight of complex infrastructure design-build programs in both design and construction phases Computer skills design-build experience, previous quality assurance experience on large complex infrastructure projects.
Preferred certifications include:
CMQ/OE (Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) Six Sigma Belt CQA (Certified Quality Auditor).
PMP, CCM transit experience experience working in ISO 9001:
