Property Maintenance Technician
Immediate openings for Property Maintenance here in the Fresno area
This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repair work on apartments and common areas as specified by work orders, to make units ready for rent, or as scheduled. Maintains the condition and function of the property and its buildings to preserve resident satisfaction and the overall appearance of the property.
Policy & Procedures
Adheres to company policies and procedures.
Customer Service
Builds and maintains positive relationships with current and potential residents, owners, vendors and staff as reflected in satisfaction surveys and Mancograms for the property as a whole.
Work Orders
Completes work orders, responding within 24 hours, has resident sign off that work was completed or acknowledge that more work is to be done.
General Maintenance
Performs building maintenance in all apartment units as required including repairs, preventative maintenance and equipment replacement.
Patches walls and paints vacant units as needed -- assists vendors as needed.
Assists with the timely completion of turnovers.
Grounds
Inspects property path each morning to ensure safe and inviting entry; inspects property exterior and borders weekly; reports deficiencies to Community Manager.
Assists co-workers and members of housekeeping and grounds with work as needed.
Safety
Attends safety briefings on a monthly basis - communicates with manager/supervisor any safety issues at the property.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
