Social Media Coordinator


The Social Media Coordinator will work in our Fresno Ca office and be the company-wide point person for generating positive on-line buzz, managing our reputation, and creating and maintaining a strong, positive online presence for our business which includes not only our company but also separate product lines and brands. We are a Fire arms manufacturing company so an Affinity for outdoors Hunting and Sports preferred; Gun, military and law enforcement major plus
You will research, develop and create different types of original content for all social media platforms (original content for blogs, infographics and promotional posts, contests and engagement programs for social media and also website copy/edits as needed. You'll be creating original content of, at least, 350 words per day. You will coordinate and collaborate with different departments to get info on inter-company happenings and turn those tiny pieces of information into exciting online content. You will monitor our online activity and create reports and metrics to develop and continually fine-tune an overall social media strategy and execute on it.
The successful candidate who demonstrates his/her skills, knowledge, abilities, talents, artistry and creativity will have the potential to grow into a strategic management/director role. You will work with an inter-departmental sales and marketing team.

Job Description
The Social Media Coordinator will take responsibility for creating brand awareness and driving traffic across various social media platforms.
Required Competencies for the Role:

Ability and comfort to present ideas to a variety of audiences as required.

Able to manage tight deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.
Key Accountabilities:
Monitor and post on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
Work closely with Brand Marketing team to maintain consistent brand identity.
Create content and maintain images/pictures on the various sites.
Maintain enthusiasm surrounding the brand and project via various platforms.
Responsive to consumer engagement and /or questions on various platforms.
Work closely with both external and internal teams to streamline the flow onto the platforms. For example, pictures from the field and tradeshows will flow through the Social Media Coordinator.
Recommend changes to management where applicable. Report findings and activity on a regular basis.
Recommend new platforms where Champion doesn't currently reside.
Job Requirements
Affinity for Outdoors Hunting and Sports preferred; Gun, military and law enforcement major plus
Proficiency and personally active within various social media platforms. Including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
Proficiency in Microsoft products; Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills a plus.

Skills preferred:
Experience in creative work.
Knowledge of social media - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube
Knowledge of digital/video media - Photoshop etc
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
Analysis skills to not only present data but also summarize the findings and propose recommendations for future improvement.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
