Solar Installer
Job Description
The Installer will report to the Crew Lead and will function as a solar technician on the jobsite. They will take direction from the Crew Lead to coordinate the installation of the array and all related equipment necessary to provide a complete photovoltaic system.
Responsibilities
Ensure the Slingshot Amaze and Delight customer service standard is met
Install solar panels and associated electrical equipment
Ensure that safe working practices are followed at all times on the jobsite
Work with the Crew Lead to assure the successful completion of systems
Complete all work efficiently and to a high quality standard
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of construction experience, preferably at least 6 months in solar.
Thrive in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Familiar with various ground and roof mount racking systems
Able to read and interpret plans, diagrams and datasheets
Basic computer skills
Able to lift 50lbs
Willing and able to climb ladders, stairs and work on rooftops
Ability to work in extreme environments (example:
hot sun, cold)
Maintain professional appearance, attitude, and client interaction at all times
Able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen
Possess a valid state driver's license
Provide DMV printout showing a good driving record (example- no DUI in the last 5 years)
