Responsibilities:
Identifies patient needs, maintains quality standards and provides basic patient care.
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) also partners with the Registered Nurse to perform skills, procedures and other tasks that are outside their clinical scope of practice.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required Completion of an accredited Vocational Nursing School program OR become licensed by equivalency required Licensure/Certification:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required Current State of California Licensed Vocational Nurse License required LVNIVTX - IV Therapy Certification (LVN) required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
