Senior Engineering Technician - APC (Clovis, CA)

Title:
Senior Engineering Technician This position is accountable for assisting the Engineering, Quality, and/or Manufacturing departments in the areas of quality testing, product audits, inspection, resolution of non conformance items, prototyping, plant or lab equipment maintenance and enhancement, and/or application support.

Qualifications:
Required:
1.
Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering 2.
Knowledge of Excel, Word and Project programs.
3.
Ability to read and check detailed Engineering and assembly drawings.
4.
Ability to design, assemble and perform testing of detailed electro-mechanical assemblies as described by the Engineer.
5.
Ability to communicate effectively, both in oral and written form.
6.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customer, vendors, and fellow employees.
7.
Ability to work in a drug-free environment and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Desirable:
1.
Knowledge of PLC, Pro-Engineer and Protel CAD systems.
2.
Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
3.
Experience in machining, including lathe, mill, castings, injection moldings, extrusions and sheet metal processes.
4.
Some experience working with multi-meters and conducting electrical continuity testing.
5.
Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally.
Basic knowledge of programming language (Visual Basic, LabVIEW, my SQL and PLC).
Capable to read, understand and design basic Electrical and Electronics interfaces.
Availability to work in different shifts, even on weekends.
Position requires minimum supervision to meet objectives.
Statistics skills knowledge.
Electronics Technician preferably.
But a plus with electro-mechanical background.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
