Job Description Responsibilities Work as a team member managing the health, performance, and uptime of the entire live web stack Performing routine audits, backups, tuning and updates to systems and software Work with development on deployment of production releases Analyze log files and generate reports from multiple sources (Splunk) Taking part in a 24 7 on-call rotation schedule Required Skills (If you do not have these skills, do not apply) 5-10 years expertise in designing, building, operating, and troubleshooting large-scale Linux/Unix based systems Advanced understanding of web application architecture including TCP/IP & HTTP, as well as caching strategies at all layers Administrating HA MySQL/Percona XtraDB Enterprise level high availability fault tolerance experience The ability to work in an environment of FreeBSD and Mac OS X Configuration management systems (Salt, Puppet, Chef) Systems programming and general scripting tasks (python, ruby, bash) Experience with customizing network management systems, monitoring tools and log processing (Cacti, Nagios, Splunk) Excellent verbal and written communication skills A high level of initiative and a strong commitment to job knowledge, productivity, and attention to detail Desired skills Experience with Percona toolkit Experience configuring and managing BGP Experience building and managing private CDN s Source:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
