Company Description Job Description Essential Duties And Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Part, assembly, and drawing generation of new products and product extensions (from top to bottom) using Pro Engineer.
Work with sales, marketing, and product management team to develop design parameters.
Work with internal and external manufacturing to produce prototypes.
Test prototypes and verify feasibility of design against original design parameters.
Work with manufacturing and purchasing team to release new products to shop floor for production.
Develop quality control procedures for long term product quality and to maintain design intent.
Manufacturing:
design tools and fixtures to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Quality control testing:
Perform quality control tests on incoming materials.
Develop and design additional quality control test procedures.
Oversee vendors.
Pro E Part modeling GNDT and tolerance Assembly Surfacing Qualifications Education and/or Experience Engineering degree required.
Minimum of 3 years mechanical design engineering experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with technical and non-technical employees.
Project management skills, including all aspects of a group engineering project.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to adapt and change gears.
Prior experience with inventory and bill of materials software.
Ability to see and understand big picture .
Mechanical aptitude.
